A Fusion Spring Layering Story
Spring is my favourite season ever and sadly spring is really short-lived in Delhi. I love the burst of colors that spring brings with it and the weather is oh-so-pleasant. It is the best of both summer and winter. Summer in the day and winter in the night. So I decided to do a simple fusion spring layering post for you guys before spring actually starts.
Look 1 : Crop it up
I am totally obsessed with wearing my lacey bustiers as crop tops. They are the right amount of feminine and sexy. I do not like too much skin show with the bustiers so I generally pair them up with high-waist pants or skirts.
For this look I paired my bustier with high-waist cropped dhoti style pants.
I have been looking for a pair of fusion shoes and my search ended at a label called Vraj:bhoomi by Bhoomi Dani. It is a concept label clothing that makes beautiful fusion clothes by using Indian prints and fabrics. How could I not wear payal (anklets) with these shoes? I layered my outfit with a brown embroidered cape and completed the look with loosely braided hair, clear glasses and layered chokers from Renovatio, a fashion jewellery label started by Mamta Naik. I added my vintage velvet zardozi bag to complete the look.
Look 2 : Max it out
This is the look an work well even when spring is a little too cold. This cotton block printed maxi dress from Vraj:bhoomi is beautiful. I love the shades of brown and the cute little details and the craftsmanship is absolutely perfect. You can wear your maxi dresses with thermals underneath and do a little cha-cha like I did. For this spring layering look I layered my thermals underneath the maxi dress and layered the maxi dress with brown embroidered shrug/cape. I did not leave layering only to the clothes and layered my necklaces too. Tbh wearing a maxi shrug does make you feel like a super hero!
That was easy right?
