Pink Christmas with Jabong

The streets are all lit up,

Decorated with giant candy canes and cuddly snow man’s,

and the Christmas tree that makes her gasp in awe.

The sweet fragrance of the freshly baked cakes,

and the jingling of the bells,

taking it all in,

as the girl walks the streets in her favourite sweater.

The lover of pink,

Dreaming about her perfect little pink christmas,

Could she decorate her christmas tree with pink flowers,
was her question.

Dreaming of a perfect pink christmas in her favourite sweater.

Living in Delhi means surviving through extremes of both summers and winters, though I am pretty happy about the fact that sun still feels warm on the skin and air is not that icy yet. The streets are all lit up and the malls are all decorated with Christmas decorations, giant candy canes and cuddly snowman’s (also silently thanking the fact that it doesn’t snow here) and all the shops are on sale. YAY!

I am super excited for the first post of the Holiday Season. Christmas is synonymous with the color red but if you know me I always try to experiment when it comes to fashion. Lately I have been loving blush shades like nudes and pinks for winter. I always believe in investing in statement pieces in my wardrobe and it was love at first sight when I saw this blush pink pom-pom sweater on I absolutely love the pom-pom detailing on the sweater, isn’t that so cute? And the best part is that the sweater was delivered within two days. It’s my new favourite sweater and I totally can live it in! You can buy this sweater here.

I paired this sweater with a white chiffon and lace white maxi skirt. I actually love wearing my maxi skirts with over-sized sweaters (read dad’s sweaters) in winters, just throw in a pair of nude tights underneath and your favourite winter booties and you are good to go, also wearing jeans and pants does get a lit|tle monotonous, doesn’t it? Well you can also wear your over-sized sweaters as dresses for winters, clinch you waist with a belt, add stockings, boots and a pair to statement earrings (Hehe look at me mind-blogging another look for this sweater). I wore my suede wedge boots that added a little height. Well Christmas means carrying around gifts so I added a backpack with plenty of room for carrying the gifts around. Also if you are heading out in the day, you can add a floppy hat just like I did. That is how I dressed up my sweater for this “Pink Christmas” look. I hope you guys like this post and that you have checked out the previous winter post here.
