My Pink Mehandi Outfit for #gitsgoesgaga

Hellooo lovely readers!

I am back with the second part of the series, well if you don’t know what series, I am sharing all the outfit’s that I wore to my blogger bff Garvita Garg’s wedding and the PART ONE was what I wore to her engagement. Check it out here!

Mehandi Outfit

So in this blog I am going to be talking about my very pink Mehandi outfit. Guys!! I am the self proclaimed queen of DIY (I am actually writing this sitting on the throne) so this outfit also has some DIYness happening around. So the very glittery pink Lehanga that I am wearing was actually a saree. My mom stitched the saree into a Lehanga for me and it turned out pretty damn good! Also it leaves glitter everywhere I go so yay!

Me and my Lehanga in all its pink glory

Well we made the Lehanga but then I only had the Lehanga, so the search for the blouse began to complete my all pink Mehandi Outfit. I got this dusty pink embroidered silk fabric from my local market and got it stitched into a strappy little number. I have also done an indo-fusion look with this blouse on my IGTV, check it out here.

While making the Lehanga I asked my mom to add loops to the belt and that was a genius idea because I wore my Sabyasachi belt with the Lehanga. The other accessory that I wore was big statement earrings with crystals and pink tassels.

For my hair, I did a centre parting and twisted my hair from both sides and pinned them at the back. Then I added these pretty white flowers that flourists add to the bouquets as fillers (these flowers deserve so much more than that)

I carried a cherry coloured boxy little bag that matched my belt and it completed the look. I kept the makeup all pink, did pink eyeshadow, pink lips and pink blush. How much pink is too much pink? Well this much pink is definitely too much pink.

Also for the footwear I wore my golden jutti’s because I wanted to be able to walk around.

So this is the story of my all pink Mehandi Outfit for GG’s Mehandi. I hope you guys enjoyed reading this and had a few laughs at my bad jokes along the way.

Don’t forget to check out what I wore to her engagement here. In the next post I would be sharing what I wore to her wedding and I am super excited for that.
