My Best friend’s fiance did her bridesmaid shoot

Weddings have never excited me in general, but this one definitely has me going all out because my best friend is getting married. I have been planning this shoot for the longest time and pushing Garvita to take out time from her busy bride-to-be schedule so that we can finally do her bridesmaid shoot, me and my sister Sutaa being her bridesmaids.

With all the redundant bridesmaid shoots in bath robes in a hotel room or at the pool side, I knew I wanted to do something different for Garvita’s shoot. We love our Indian wear and we are self-proclaimed queens of our Indo-fusion looks, so we definitely had to go the Indian way. But Indian way with a twist. We decided to relive our childhood days through this shoot, relive those little fights about who had more pieces of chips from a 10 rupees wala Lays ka packet, having buddhiya k baal ( Candy floss) on the roof on a sunny winter day, reminiscing the time we used to play ghar-ghar as kids and we were sure about one thing that we wanted these pictures to be anything but pose-y. All we wanted to do was have fun.

And you know what the best part is? Gitanshu, Garvita’s fiance was our photographer for the shoot. Believe me it doesn’t get any cooler than this! And I don’t think I have ever seen a bridesmaid shoot as ah-may-zingg as this one, maybe I am biased in my views, but I guess, f*** that, because my best friend is getting married this month and I couldn’t be happier.

So the three of us decked up in our Lehanga’s (being over the top being a common theme), we finally found our shoot location and all we had was fun. I hope you guys enjoy the storyline and the pictures.

Chapter 6 : Garvita is getting married!

This shot came out totally opposite of how we had envisioned it to be. I was supposed to be giving mean looks to Gitanshu ( Garvita’s fiance and our photographer for the shoot) but I couldn’t stop laughing looking at Gitanshu and this how the shot turned out to be and I LOVE it.
