featuring custom-made bag by ANQI
The earliest memory I have of my grandfather’s house is of huge trunks with my grandfather’s initials on it. Being from the Air Force, shifting houses was a normal routine, hence huge trunks with his initials painted on them with white paint. When I was little all I wanted was my own trunk with my initials painted on it . When Ankita from ANQI asked me what I wanted my bag to say, I knew it had to be my initials. This handcrafted bag in a beautiful cherry color leather with my initials engraved on it was love at first sight.
I already had a complete military inspired look in my mind as soon as I saw the bag. Does that happen to you too?
Khakhi color so does not seem to go out of fashion and there’s no denying that I love the color. Military Inspired fashion has been dominating the streets and the runways alike and this trend does not seem to go out of fashion. So I finally decided to do a post on military inspired fashion. I wore my military green bodycon dress and layered it with my Dad’s khakhi shirt. I love layering summer pieces as it adds a new dimension to an old boring outfit. Also layering pieces in same color makes you look leaner and taller. I added few handmade and hand-painted patches from adagio to quirk up the outfit. I added a velvet choker and black tie-up heels. I stole my dad’s vintage RayBan aviators and they were the last piece of the puzzle. I tied up my hair in a high pony and wore the darkest brown lip color I own.
I love how powerful this look is and how well khakhi complements the bag. ANQI is all about handcrafting luxury bags as a form of art. You should not even think twice before heading over to ANQI. You will fall in love with their designs.
