Material Girl

New Year eve is the party time of the year. Everybody is in great spirits and ready to party. But we girls always face the dilemma about what to wear! All the brands are posting their pretty party dresses on their social medias, but living in Delhi wearing dresses without layering them with coats, stockings or sweaters becomes kind of impossible. So while dresses are the party favorites for the New Year’s  I thought of doing something different than usual for this NYE’s party dressing inspiration.

Power dressing meets party girl kinda outfit!

“Power dressing meets party girl”

This story is about a girl is all about bending the rules. She loves to stand-out in the crowd. She wants to change the common notion that the dresses aren’t the only party outfits. Her all-silver looks screams sophisticated glamour and power. She is a girl boss and she loves power dressing.

This look is all about being glamorous party chic without compromising on comfort. I have observed that people have a common notion about party dressing that it is all about wearing skirts and dresses. I think party dressing is all about glamour and being comfortable in what you wear. Since I love to experiment with fashion, like wearing my skirts as dresses as seen here , or wearing my mom’s kurta as cape here, I thought of doing a rather unusual NYE outfit post. I dressed up this rather casual grey jumpsuit that I bought from for party dressing and the best thing about wearing a jumpsuit for NYE is that you won’t shiver in cold *if you live in Delhi, you would know what I mean*. One can easily wear thermals with this jumpsuit. I added this silver blazer from Adagio with silver buttons for a power dressing meets party girl look. I added long chain tassel earrings that I bought from my Local Market and these add the fun element to the outfit *imagine dancing in these*.

I added my favorite favorite silver party heels from Zara and a party clutch. I left my hair open with a center parting for a posh glam look and dab of oxblood on my lips which perfectly complimented the silver of my outfit.

Also, this is my last post of 2015. The year 2015 has been good to me, I finally got my own website 4 months back and the response I am getting on my posts is getting better and better. Thanks to everyone who reads my blog, random people on the roads who criticize my dressing and people who copy me, it just motivates me to do better.

Wish you guys an amazing New Year.
