If you guys have been reading my blog for a while, you guys must already know that I have a thing for earrings. I love wearing unique earrings and some of you have been loving the ones that I wear and have been requesting for an earring collection video on my YouTube channel for the longest time. That’s coming soon btw!
While I was talking to one of my followers on Instagram, she suggested me that I should do something around Indo-fusion styling, I decided to put my own spin on it and show you guys how you can transform any basic outfit into an Indo-fusion outfit using a pair of earrings. For this particular post I decided to pick up a few statement earrings from Krafted with Happiness.
Look 1 : Mehandi Look
I tried to keep most of the looks pretty casual but this one turned out a little extra, not that I am complaining, I love extra. But I hope this look inspires you to experiment a little with your style as well. So I started with basics for this look, a white shirt and a pair of white pants. The question is how to make this look Mehandi appropriate?
The answer is adding a pair of statement earrings. I picked up these pearl ones, that have a picture of Mona Lisa which is pretty unique and unusual. And I decided to add another layer with my organza cape jacket.
By adding statement earrings and the jacket, the look was elevated from basic everyday outfit to a “very out there Mehandi look”. Since a lot of you do not own Indian wear, this look is perfect for you, all you need is a pair of statement earrings.

Look 2 : The Holiday Edit
This one’s a pretty easy way of giving your holiday outfit an Indo-fusion twist. No point’s for guessing that it involves a pair of statement earrings. With spring knocking on the door, I am already dreaming about summer vacays and that means loads of dresses. All you need to do is wear your favourite dress, wear these earrings and voila you have your very own indo-fusion outfit recipe!
I decided to give my bright yellow summer shirt dress an Indian twist with these mirror and bead work earrings. These are perfect for the holidays because they are as light as a feather and are definitely a conversation starter.

Look 3 : Chandbalies and tees
We all are guilty of buying gorgeous chandbalies to wear at weddings but once we are done with the wedding season, these earrings do not see the light of the day. No I am not being melodramatic, it is the truth. But I decided to change this.
What is the most basic outfit you can think of? T-shirt and women denim jeans right? I decided to give my basic tee and jeans outfit a makeover with shaadi wali chandbali.
I wore this fun white tee that literally an advertisement for Kellogg’s, God bless pop culture! And I paired my high-waist jeans with it. To give the look a desi vibe i.e. an Indo-fusion vibe I added my pearl chandbali’s. This might seem a little too much for some people but believe it makes a statement. I especially loved the juxtaposition of desi with modern and extra with basic!
I decided to wear a pair of cat eye sunglasses and add a big pink scrunchie to add a tab bit of retro vibe to the look.
Isn’t it crazy how a pair of earrings can change the entire outfit? You can get your hands these earrings at Krafted with Happiness, also check out their Instagram for updates about latest deals and discounts.
