Let us be honest, gym tights aren’t only meant for gym, nor do those Adidas joggers mean that you have to lounge around at your home all day wearing them, well atleast not anymore. Fashion has come a long way from sneering at people for wearing gym clothes in public (for not being stylish) to actually labelling wearing “gym clothes” in public as the “it” trend. This effortless casual athleisure trend is not really that effortless. A lot goes behind getting that perfect effortless athleisure look that is high fashion as well. So I am sharing five easy steps that I keep in mind while doing the athleisure.
1. TWIN IT
Well to be honest twinning is my answer to everything whenever I am in a styling fix. You need to actually need a coord set to wear matching separates, just pick up two pieces in the similar shades and you are good to go. Matching your separate makes your look really put together as well so that’s a win.

Twin your joggers with a sweatshirt in the same color and layer it with an overcoat just like Gigi did it. Add accessories like chain chokers, sunglasses, a statement bag and some tennis sport shoes to amp your look and make it more street style.
2. WHITE SHIRT ALWAYS WORKS
White shirt is truly a classic piece that works with anything and everything. I paired the pajama’s from the co-ord set with white shirt which I tied into a knot and this look is perfect athleisure chic.
3. ACCESSORIZE TO TRANSFORM IT FROM GYM TO STREET
I have said it already and I say it again, accessories take your look to another level. Athleisure is trending, but you do not want to look as if you are just out of the gym in your tracks or yoga pants, that’s wear the accessories come into play. Sunglasses and athleisure are a match made it heaven. Never forget to add a bag, a cross body or a duffle, the choice is yours. Layer your dainty necklaces, add a choker, wear a statement ring, add a vintage double buckle belt, the options are endless. Decide what works with your choice of clothing.
4. LAYER IT RIGHT
Wear your joggers with a crop and layer it with a vintage jacket or wear your yoga pants with a hoodie and put a scarf over it. Pajama’s with t-shirts and biker jackets paired with boots look rad too.
5. MARRY FUNCTION AND FASHION
Pajama with heels are my new favourite go to style and I am not even kidding. It is the best of comfort and fashion.
