| What I Wore for Day 3 |
Christian Dior Inspired
If you have been following “what I wore to Amazon India Fashion Week Series”, you already know that I decided to take inspiration from my favourite designers for my outfits this Fashion Week. I did a Gucci inspired look for Day 1 and Lanvin inspired look for Day 2. I took inspiration from Dior for my Day 3 look. I fell in love with the Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Collection, it was a perfect blend of whimsy, magic and art.
For my Day 3 look, I painted (read doodled) shooting stars, moon, sun and planets along with fishes, snakes, octopus, hearts and anything and everything that came to my mind. I painted my name on the skirt and few of my favourite quotes too. I wanted the skirt to be the star of the outfit therefore I paired it up with a pale pink top, kept the makeup neutral with pink lips and carried my pink fur bag.
Those of you wondering about the black rose, it’s a handcrafted Turkish black rose that I got from Siddartha Tyter’s show and it complemented my outfit so well that people actually thought that it was a part of my outfit.

Shivan and Narresh
Shivan and Narresh are the designer duo I look forward to each fashion week. The duo that made swimwear high fashion in India launched their collection “The Egon Series” at AIFWAW17. Their signature form-flattering neoprene fabric was a part of most of their designs.
Just when I thought that gold and royal blue has been over done, Shivan and Narresh re-invented it. Their collection was all about form enhancing silhouettes with 3D gold-embroidered details which celebrates modern Indian opulence.
Taking the classic black and white to another level in a cut-out bodycon dress and form-fitting stripe crop top and signature neoprene skirt.
Metallics form a core of their Egon Series, with 3D metallic embellishments dazzling the lehangas, blouses and jackets, to free flowing metallic skirts and tie-up metallic blouses.
There is nothing in “The Egon Series” that I do no want to wear.
