Not your cup of chai
Part I

Food and Fashion are the two F words that I absolutely love and can’t do without. I don’t mean to sound like a fool but I am that girl who goes grocery shopping all dressed up and the other girls really can’t get enough of checking me out. Well if Chanel can do their show at a supermarket I certainly can go grocery shopping all dressed up. I might not be everyone’s cup of chai so I need no validation from society anyways!
Food X Fashion is a pet project that I had in my mind since the longest time. The work behind putting this project together has been nothing short of therapeutic. When I saw Priyanshi (the lady boss behind The Khadi Cult) had this quirky chai print I could not stop myself from getting my chai dress. Priyanshi started Khadi Cult as a college project for revival of Khadi, which has now grown into a very popular Instagram label and she truly has created a cult because her customers keep going back to her for more. I wanted something loose and she customised this perfect chai print dress with bell sleeves for me.

Monochrome is a fashion cheat for me. When you can’t seem to style a particular piece of clothing, grab footwear, accessories and bag in the same color just like I did and just put it all together. Believe me no one would even believe that you threw it all together, monochrome dressing for life! I paired my chai print dress with blue tassel earrings (which are a DIY), velvet bow slides and blue rimmed wayfarers. My bag is from my favourite bag brand ANQI. This Girl boss keeps reinventing herself with each bag she makes.

I hope you guys like the Part I of Food X Fashion series.
Stay tuned for the Part II coming out next week!
