Be a wanderer I say!
See the weeds that grow?
Let our love grow like weeds grow in a barren field,
Be a wanderer I say,
Rip my heart out of my chest,
and let it wander away.
Bohemian fashion is something I have always loved. It makes you feel free, flowy skirts, flowers in hair, trinkets here and there. For me, bohemian fashion is all about being free-spirited and finding yourself.
This outfit post is coming after a long gap which generally does not happen on Moda Yalda. If you follow my blog, you already know that I post an outfit post each week but I needed some thinking and soul-searching to do. So I thought something as free-spirited as bohemian fashion would be a good way to get back after a gap.
Experimenting with bits of bohemian for my look, I paired my embroidered denim vest from Adagio with a vintage maxi dress. I buttoned up my vest to make it look like a cropped denim shirt. I love the embroidery on the vest, hand embroidered by the artisans from Kutch, this adds to the story to this piece. I could not take the heat so I braided my hair into milkmaid braids and added a few flowers. What’s bohemian fashion without flowers anyways? And what is bohemian fashion without some trinkets? So I added this beautiful pair of hand-crafted cowrie shell earring as a brooch.
This cherry colored bag was a cherry on top for my bohemian outfit. This handmade cherry colored leather beauty from Phive Rivers is not touched by even a single machine. I discovered this brand through Wooplr and they create luxurious hand-crafted leather products, untouched by machines, made by men. I wore my brown boots and my go-to-pair of sunglasses because man the sun is out and its shining bright.
