DIY tip : Add ghunghroos to your crop top like I did to add hints of banjaran fashion to your attire.

Well if you know me, you would know that I love everything that’s over the top (OTT), also I love silver jewelry so that is how I dressed on my birthday, taking inspiration from banjaran fashion. Me and my friends decided to go to craft’s museum for my birthday as I had never been there. I was super excited to go there, though most of the things were getting renovated but I liked what I saw. I absolutely love these terracotta horses and with time on our hands I asked my friend to shoot my outfit of the day. Crafts museum has a small area like a Mini Delhi Haat where the vendors sell their stuff at exorbitantly high prices. It has a pretty little cafe called Cafe Lota which offers amazing food. The Paneer Dhokla and Lassi are absolutely yum.

I went OTT for my birthday outfit. I absolutely love this embroidered crop top that I scored from Sarojini Nagar during one of my shopping sprees. I died a little when I saw this beauty and I was lucky enough to find matching shorts too. Was I lucky or was I lucky? Though the crop top had already so much going on, I still added a silver necklace that I got from Janpath (OTT you see). I paired this crop top with a yellow maxi skirt. I carried an engraved leather bag and added these mirror pom-pom earrings from krafted with happiness drawing inspiration from banjaran fashion. The day was all about walking so I opted for strappy golden flats.

I borrowed these vintage silver bangles from my mom. Well one can not survive summers without a pair of good sunglasses and I wore classic Raybans. I went for deep plum lips. Banjaran fashion is my favorite. I can’t get over how beautiful the banjarans’s look in their blouses and super pleated maxi skirts and tonnes of silver jewelry. *Major inspiration*

I hope you guys liked the look. If you want some more banjaran fashion inspiration check out my previous looks here and here.
